Motion Graphics Program

Graphic design controls what people see. Motion graphics adds another dimension: when something appears, how it moves, how quickly it changes, and where the viewer's attention goes next. This motion graphics course in Noida teaches students to use movement as part of visual communication rather than treating animation as decoration added at the end.

The programme begins with the principles behind effective movement. Students explore animation principles, timing, rhythm, motion psychology, and visual storytelling to understand why some transitions feel natural while others interrupt the message. These foundations are then applied to typography, shapes, graphics, and visual compositions.

Production work develops through Adobe After Effects, with Photoshop and Illustrator supporting the creation and preparation of visual assets. Students work on areas such as kinetic typography, logo animation, product advertising, commercial animation, and brand motion, learning how static design elements can be adapted for moving content.

Branding becomes particularly interesting when it starts to move. A logo may need an animated version for a video opener, while typography and graphic elements can become part of a campaign or presentation. The challenge is to introduce movement while keeping the original visual identity recognisable and consistent.

Students also explore the production side of motion graphics through camera animation, motion compositing, visual effects, and workflow development. This helps them understand how individual animated elements are brought together into a finished piece rather than stopping at isolated exercises.

The programme includes practical work that can develop into a Brand Motion Package, Product Ad, Corporate Presentation, and Motion Showreel. These projects allow students to demonstrate different approaches to movement, communication, and visual storytelling.

The resulting portfolio can support career directions such as Motion Graphics Designer, Motion Designer, Advertisement Animator, and Motion Branding Artist.
